In many current applications, whether consumer or industrial, users and operators alike have increasing amounts of rich, vital or entertaining information at their fingertips. The visual access to this information is however still severely limited by the capabilities and technical characteristics (image size, quality) of the currently available display systems. Displays or projection systems that provide a poor quality image in difficult environmental lighting conditions do not fulfill the requirements of today’s professional and consumer users alike. Lemoptix microprojectors integrated by OEMs in their display systems will enable the projection of a high quality image of the rich multimedia content or information on a surface directly in the field of vision of the viewer.
