Digital Electronics/Software Engineer
Description
As Digital Electronics/Software Engineeryou will be responsible for achieving the company’s software and digital electronics objectives towards products release. Working with the electronics team and partners, you will play a strategic role for the company’s electronics and product development. The role will be to define and execute the electronics digital development both in terms of ASIC development and software/algorithm implementation. The role requires capability to deal with complex technical environment in multi-disciplinary team in orderto plan, follow and execute the defined targets according to company’s products development. The job provides a unique opportunity for an individual with drive and ambition to achieve very good professional, personal and financial rewards.
Responsibilities
ASIC digital design
- Synthesize FPGA and other digital electronics to build an ASIC chip
- Together with the analog ASIC leader plan tape-outs accordingly with the schedule published by the related manufacturer
- Define and execute the strategy for ASIC digital design
Software/Algorithm
- Optimize the currently developed FPGA algorithm code to increase the projection image quality and lower power consumption
- Develop image processing algorithms
Firmware
- Develop software for our embedded platform
- Develop software for analog ASIC configuration
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital ASIC design, FPGA (Xilinx preferred) synthesize and VHDL/Verilogcoding.
- Experience in design of digital ASIC test board and testing of digital chip
- Strong experience in C programming
- Experience in embedded software
- Experience of software coding for video projection and image processing is a plus
- Experience in tactile display-related software is a plus
